Explanation of the description:

Oil and grease are always replaced because, even without being used, they have a shelf life of 2 to 3 years, with some exceptions. Castrol Power RS BV has no shelf life under certain storage conditions. With use, it always gets used up, and the same applies to grease because in essence that is oil bound together.

Repairs needed and for parts: we do not do that. Everything is repaired, and you receive a 2-year technical warranty on every bike, including peripheral items such as tires, for example.

Top condition: has some scratches and rust or is missing a little paint in places. Mechanically it works 100%, so it works like new (which it is not, and not everything is as good as new because it is a used bike). No defects and no strange noises from, for example, the crank. At most, it may be missing the rear cover of the chain guard.

Used: has many scratches and rust or is missing quite a bit of paint, may make some noises but is technically 100% and without defects or worn tires. It may be missing the rear cover of the chain guard. The suspension front fork works fine but not like a new one anymore (if it is completely stuck, that is mentioned; this is not dangerous, but a fork that is too soft is, because you lose traction and may fall).

DISCOUNTED from 229 to 179 euros because it was returned and had transport damage, namely the chain guard and some extra scratches, etc. The chain guard now has a part missing at the back, but it is securely attached and does not rattle.


2-year full carry-in warranty

This covers any defect not caused by your own actions or by someone else.
Excluded are, of course, normal wear and tear such as tires, a light bulb if there is no battery system or batteries, brake pads, for example.

Maintenance:
The derailleur system, including the chain, must be lubricated at least once every 3 months, for example with chain spray from Action, and roller brakes should occasionally be sprayed with some 8-in-1 spray from Action or any other penetrating oil if they become too dry; that is the best and easiest maintenance. You may do this yourself. For the roller brake, you must take a bread knife, remove the rubber cap, spray it, and then use a little butter, for example, to stick the cap onto the knife and put it back in. You may do the maintenance yourself without losing the warranty. With a closed chain guard, you do not need to perform any maintenance on the chain for 2 years. With a drum brake with brake pads, it may be necessary to sand the housing and pads if they start to squeak badly. The only maintenance that needs to be done is described here. If necessary, you can receive free written support for the maintenance to be carried out.

Given the sale price, I cannot install a new hub dynamo, for example, but then you will get a battery-powered light mounted, or compensation if you want to do it yourself.

There will always be consultation in case of a defect, but you are entitled to a properly working and safe bicycle for a period of 2 years.

The warranty is carry-in only, which means you must bring it to me or to Heerlen train station, for example, where I will then pick it up. If possible, it will be repaired the same day.


Hereby I offer a fully refurbished Gazelle Punta.

1. Fully cleaned and re-greased gear hub and bearings.
2. New gold chain with high tensile strength.
3. New inner and outer tires front and rear.
4. Front and rear battery lights. (The rear light from Walfort, new, will still be mounted with brackets) done, see photo.
5. Repaired chain guard with fiberglass filler, extra strong. It is completely fine but now missing a part due to transport damage. It does not rattle, is firmly attached, and is sturdy.

7. Front suspension treated with penetrating oil/WD40.
8. Kickstand.
9. Rear carrier.
10. 7 gears.
11. Good brake pads and excellent brakes; these work the same as roller brakes in all weather conditions, unlike V-brakes and disc brakes, for example, which are affected by rain and frost, etc.
12. The iron dust cap of the gear hub has been polished on the inside; these have an iron surface and can rub there and make some noise due to dirt and rust over time, for example.

In short, a fine bike again.
